NEW LIBRARY IN
THE CITY CENTRE
The new Campbelltown Library recently moved into the heart of the Campbelltown City Centre to ensure the library is accessible for everyone, while bringing significant benefits to surrounding businesses with more than 10,000 people expected to visit each month. Features of the new library include a creative studio with 3D printers, sewing machines and podcasting and video editing facilities, a local studies area featuring a large interactive touchscreen and more spaces for young people to study and enjoy recreation time.
ARTS CENTRE
REDEVELOPMENT
Under a grant provided through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant Program, Campbelltown City Council is about to embark on a major $84.6m expansion of Campbelltown Arts Centre. The project will deliver a new theatre space, additional workshop spaces, dedicated storage for artwork, new and enhanced gallery spaces, artist studios, expansion of the café, hireable function spaces, and improvements to accessibility and the building’s connection to the City Centre.

RSL CONSTRUCTION
A major redevelopment of the Campbelltown RSL is underway, bringing the entry of the new RSL onto Queen Street. Future plans include a brand new facelift for the façade of the club with the inclusion of a hotel development and state of the art facilities for members and the community to enjoy.
KOSHIGAYA
PARK UPGRADE
Campbelltown Council is undergoing a major $1.2m upgrade of the popular playspace in Koshigaya Park. The upgrade will see new play equipment including swings, toddler play equipment, embankment play equipment and a flying fox as well as retention of existing trees and planting of new Cherry Blossom trees, new footpath connections, Aboriginal cultural elements including a series of artworks and carvings, new picnic area and picnic shelters.
ACTIVATION OF
QUEEN STREET
Campbelltown is committed to activating Queen Street, through a range of initiatives including regular markets, events and public domain improvements. This will showcase the incredible businesses that bring this street to life and shines a light on the heart of the city centre.
ADVOCACY FOR
TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS
Campbelltown Council, along with other Local Government organisations, including Camden Council and Wollondilly Shire Council are advocating for improved public transport to connect the region. These connections would ensure Macarthur residents can easily access employment opportunities at our new airport, move around the region via public transport, and maximise the draw of Campbelltown as a destination.

Head to Campbelltown Bus & Train Interchange [ 8 minutes drive ] or Macarthur Station [ 7 minutes drive ] and you can jump on a train and be at Central Station in around an hour. Local buses take you to the station and Macarthur Square Shopping Centre.
